Mission
The mission of Kingsbury Elementary School is to work together with families and community members to prepare each student to become responsible and successful citizens by providing a safe and challenging learning environment that fosters academic, emotional, social, and physical growth.
Shared Vision
Kingsbury Elementary School envisions a multi-cultural, student-centered learning community that will prepare students, using relevant and inclusive learning activities, to become life-long learners and productive citizens in an ever-changing society. We expect all stakeholders to accept the responsibility of providing an atmosphere where every child can be successful.

These values, along with the outstanding support of teachers, parents, and community are the driving force behind the growth that has resulted in Kingsbury Elementary School being a 3-Time Tennessee Reward School for the being the top 5% of the state for academic growth. We take pride in the education we are providing our students, and we are excited about the growth our students are making daily.
ABOUT US
For over a 60 years, Kingsbury Elementary has been a staple of excellence in the Berclair and Highland Heights Communities.
Kingsbury was organized in the 1950-1951 school year as an elementary school with
Mrs. Hallie Douglas, principal. The elementary school moved to its present location at the corner of Graham and Bayliss in 1956.
The Kingsbury community is steeped in tradition and history. Many students attending the elementary are second and third generation Kingsbury Falcons.
The school campus is a source of pride to the community, the faculty, staff and students. Within its walls, students are loved, and pushed to do their very best. With the help of our stakeholders, our students are growing daily. The community spirit, expert faculty, supportive parents and outstanding student body personify the Kingsbury Elementary motto: We Go The Second Mile.
